Liquid Lounge Sunday Lunch & Leisure Cruises
Our public cruises are only available on Sundays and public holidays.
Booking and payment are required upfront.
You will receive detailed boarding instructions upon order confirmation. It is your responsibility to get to the departure point on time.
Payments made to confirm bookings are not refundable.
Should you need to postpone your booking, we will require at least 72 hours notice.
Departure times are set and not alterable. If you are late for your check-in, you will miss the boat.
If you miss the boat, you cannot use payment made for a future booking – your payment will be forfeited.
You are not allowed to bring any food or beverages onto the Emerald resort property or onto the boat.
Liquid Lounge is a closed boat; rain does not affect our cruises. We cruise as scheduled.
Only "Act of God" events such as flooding will ground Liquid Lounge, in which case your booking will be postponed, and payments made will be kept until we find you a suitable alternate date. You will receive sufficient notice in this regard.
In making payments for our services, you are accepting these terms & conditions.
House of Zia Houseboat
Our houseboat sleeps a maximum of 4 guests (2 couples).
She is a permanently moored houseboat, not a cruising houseboat.
Bookings and payment are required upfront.
You will receive detailed boarding instructions upon order confirmation.
Over and above the houseboat hire fee, we will require a R3000 security deposit upfront. This will be refunded after your check-out if nothing is damaged or missing.
You are welcome to fish from the houseboat's deck; you’ll just need to bring your own fishing gear.
We do not recommend children under the age of 8 years. There are sections of the houseboat's deck that are open to the water. This is, of course, up to parents though.
Lady Elizabeth
Lady Elizabeth seats a maximum of 12 souls.
She is booked on a private charter basis at a flat hourly rate (whether you are 2 or 12 guests).
A skipper is provided.
Only snacks and cooler box drinks are available on Lady Elizabeth. A sit-down buffet is not possible.
She is weather permitting and does not cruise in the rain.
If the weather plays up on the day of your booking, we will endeavour to postpone your cruise to an alternate time/date. If it is not possible to postpone your booking, a refund will be arranged.

The boats have been issued with a license as per SAMSA (South African Maritime Safety Authority) requirements and regulations.
